Weinberger photographed at the first major rockers' gatherings, which still had the charm of the legendary Pentecost bikers' gatherings on St. Peter's Island in Lake Biel. He was asked to attend weddings and funerals, invited to club openings and trips. And Weinberger takes pictures: always on the sidelines, but as an important part of this “movement” that, over time, moves further and further away from its anarchic beginnings.
No matter how often and enthusiastically the young people photographed themselves, the image they took of themselves was blurred and lacking in contours. Weinberger succeeded in showing that they were more than “rebels without a cause”. He had them pose in front of his camera and at the same time exaggerate the pose with photographic means. He saw the beauty behind the martial appearance. The pride and vulnerability that early rockers tried to hide behind their patched uniforms and huge belt buckles. And of course, the eroticism that reverberates like an electric current throughout his work.

Pick up
The free pick up of your order at the bookstore is available upon presentation of an identity document. Any order not collected from the shop within one month of payment will be automatically refunded.
Shipping fees
Shipping costs are calculated based on the chosen carrier, the weight and the delivery address of your package. Once your order is in your cart, you can have an estimate of the shipping costs offered by each transport service.
Return
Retraction possible within 7 days from receiving the order. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Returned books must be in perfect condition. The bookstore reserves the right to refuse reimbursement of the books if this shouldn't be the case.
