Witty Books
On the occasion of the event "Photography & publishing in Italy" on January the 26th, we decided to shed light on the Italian publisher Witty Books.The founder Tommaso Parrillo will be part of the conversation with photographer Federico Clavarino and visual researcher Giaime Meloni.
Witty Books is an independent publishing house, initially named Witty Kiwi, founded in 2012 by Tommaso Parrillo.
Based in Torino in Italy, Witty Books promotes contemporary and visual arts by publishing photobooks as well as different projects including music ("Ear/Eye" is a project aiming to create a dialogue between a visual artist and a sound artist) and educational activities such as masterclasses and workshops.

About
LE BAL Books is the bookstore of LE BAL, a Paris-based exhibition center dedicated to the contemporary image in all its forms. Specialised in photography, the store carries more than 2000 references of artistic works linked to the image and young creation, including self-published, rare books, fanzines and limited editions. LE BAL Books also organizes a yearly program of book signings and events as well as the independent book fair Rolling Paper.
The bookshop of LE BAL and its programming are handled by Ana Gallart (Head of the department) assisted by Antonin Langlinay.
